Pizzzza

Goodmorning!!!I'm on the torturous train to NYC at 7:30 am, and can't help but daydream(actually crackofdawndream) about the fabulous GF pizza I had this weekend.

On Friday night my family and I hit up Tommy's, a local brick oven pizza restaurant/sports bar. They offer brick oven gluten free crust, and celiacs can choose from many toppings. WHAT's BETTER than that?!!!! Tommys is located in Red Bank,NJ.

Gluten free pizza is popping up everywhere these days. Even If you don't see it on the menu...ask !! Tommy's didn't have it on their menu and look what I was missing out on! If you ask and they dont offer it, at least you are giving them an absolutely FABULOUS idea!!

The pizza I am showing here was bruschetta pizza. If you don't live near Tommys, you can definitely whip this up in your own kitchen. Just grab your FAV GF crust(or make your own) and top it with olive oil, chopped tomatoes, garlic, salt, pepper, basil, and fresh mozzerella( I do not like cheese, so the pie pictured is cheeeeseless). Bon Appetit !

welcome!!!!!

Hi!!!! Welcome to GF and FAB!!!!!!!!  This blog is meant to entertain and inspire ladies with celiac disease.  I am 23 and have known about my celiac disease since I was 18.  Although I sometimes get upset and feel inconvenienced because of this disease, I generally have made the best of it.  Having celiac disease isn't the worst thing that could happen to you, and whenever I feel overwhelmed by it I think of all of the fabulous foods/drinks that I CAN have.  So whenever you feel down, think of WINE! and HOT, GRILLED, CORN ON THE COB!!  CRUNCHY PEANUT BUTTER, MASHED POTATOES, POTATO CHIPS, SUSHI, & KING CRAB LEGS!
